The Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra has stood for excellence in music-making and education since 1995.
Featuring top instructors with decades of experience, MMYO provides its students with solo, chamber, and orchestral performance opportunities all throughout San Diego. MMYO offers unparalleled access to the Mainly Mozart All-Star Orchestra, the largest annual gathering of concertmasters and principal players from major orchestras across the country including the New York Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra and Los Angeles Philharmonic. MMYO has a core commitment to inclusion.

The Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra enjoys a rich history of talented and devoted Music Directors dating back nearly 30 years. The Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra was first established as the San Diego Young Artists Symphony in February 1995 by the late Maestro Louis Campiglia. In 2013, San Diego Young Artists Symphony merged with Mainly Mozart and was renamed the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra.
